Cat Confidential by Vicky Halls, Bantam Press UK, 2004.

A rather good book, covering a cat's different life stages and the behavioral problems the owner may encounter during those times. Not too preachy, not too condenscending, practical suggestions that can be implemented without costing an arm or a leg, thrown in with a dose of Brit humour.

Obviously I do not need the chapter on New Kitten, but the chapters on Scaredy Cat and Indoor Cat are educational. I am beginning to look at Spencer with a new eye.

hypersensitivity to noise/ movement/ touch **

inappropriate urination
over-grooming *
change in normal routine/ patterns of behaviour **
