I was at the pet shop looking for books on Persians. I had tried various major bookshops, used books vendors and Amazon, without much success. Or as the vet said, Persians are no longer "fashionable". Anyway....

Me: Hi, would you have any books on Persians please?

Staff: Errr, I not sure, I part time only. My senior not in.

Me: ok...maybe I leave my number here, when your supervisor comes back, ask her to call me?

Staff: I check computer.

Me: That would be great.

Staff: Ermmm, Persians is cat or dog ah?

Me: .......( faint )

After we sorted everything out, she managed to call one of the branches that majors in cats, and they do have one book available. The staff sent the cover photo of the book to my handphone via MMS, to make sure I haven't got it already in my existing library. I should be able to pick up the book the next day.
