Dad took us to the 18 Lohans ( apostles ) temple at Semerang, on the 1st day of CNY. It was about 40 minutes drive from the house. Dad said many Singaporeans visit this temple, to either pray or to stay in the hostels for free. The temple was originally small and squallid, but several renovations were sponsored by the devotees over the years.
It was quite crowded when we arrived, and we made rounds of offerings to the various dieties. Now on top of the original 18 Lohans and various dieties from Chinese mythology, one can also give thanks to Guan Yin, 4-faced Buddha and various sleeping Buddhas.

You just need a good camera, lots of time, good light, and take many many photos so you can practice and choose from! Also depends on moods lah.
