In between matches, the World Cup channel on cable would talk about trivias, like the history of the various old towns the palyers are staying or playing in. Most of the towns look like nice, quaint places to visit, and the sky is so blue and clear.

I didn't know that adidas and Puma are both from Germany, and started by two brothers who had fallen out with each other.

I didn't know that Serbia-Montenegro is the ex-Yugoslavia, and Trinidad-Tobago an ex-colony of Britain. Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Ghana are all on the African continent. And Persia was Iran. Posted by Picasa

So this tells us that sports and especially football is an important source of education , especially history ..hahaha

Nat geo is showing the Top 5 docus - today is the cities of the world cup. I should watch and learn something useful from TV. I notice that I learn all manner of things from watching the box :)

ha! i didnt know too... adidas and puma are my fav brands, puma for its black panther, and adidas for its stripes!

Dear San, TV is not all evil. Just depends on what programmes you watch!! I like Animal Planet.
