Last night I saw some wound under Hat's chin. It was rough, pinkish and about 2 in long. I couldn't see very clearly because it was dark, and Hat won't come into the house with me.

It looks like a ligature mark. And a little skin is broken on Hat's chin.

I don't know if Hat has been abused, or he got himself involved in an accident.

I will try to get a better look tonight, after Max leaves.
