Mera came up at 9.30am, asking for breakfast. He didn't come in, after I spotted him. He went to hide under the umbrella.

I brought out the sardines for him, and he came up to eat.

Just then, silly Hat chose this moment to appear, and sniffed at the umbrella. He could have come up earlier.

Mera saw him, and was very upset.

3 minutes later, Mera chased Hat down the corridor, and I heard a scream.

Later Mera walked back slowly, and continued his breakfast.
