I removed Yakob's collar, so that it will be easier for him to be adopted. Wishful thinking on my part, I guess.
Unfortunately he has made quite a name for himself on the corridor.
One neighbour had wired up the whole panel of his gate, because Yakob sneaked in, and slept on a pile of laundry. The tenant saw his flashing eyes in the dark, and screamed her head off.
The other one, the aunty who was afraid of cats, told me Yakob went to sleep on her bed. The uncle apparently didn't chase Yakob away. Either he didn't mind, or he was too sleepy. Anyway, Yakob bit him, on the belly. She said she is keeping her door locked now, though she would much prefer to leave it opened.
They all told me they know Yakob doesn't belong to me, and they were not blaming me.
But I feel bad still.
At least now Yakob doesn't come into the house anymore. He would wait outside quietll, until I bring out the fish.

He must have had quite a good life if he sleeps on the bed and all. I wonder why whoever it was abandoned such a well-behaved kitty.
He is making himself comfy.
so trusting in humans.
