Just when I thought I wanted to proceed with the DIY vaccination, he went and hurt his eye again!

I found him on Sunday afternoon, and thought he looked a bit funny. I put him in the cage, waiting for Sister S to come back, so she could hold him while I jab.

By the time I woke up, Mera's eyelid was already swollen. And he was mightily unhappy being locked up in the cage.

I gave him antibiotics and anti-inflammatory tablets, and applied eye ointment.

At 8pm, I released him.

This morning, the eye still looked swollen. But Mera came up by himself at 8.30am. He wanted to touch Spencer's nose in greeting, but she jumped away.

I managed to medicate him, and again at 6pm.

This Mera, what a headache!
