I saw Hat come into my room this morning.

He thought I was still asleep.

I saw him looking at me, then he patrolled the room, looking and testing for warm spots.

Then he jumped onto the bookshelves and settled into his basket, as if he had been there the whole night.

Sheesh.

He went back to bed after breakfast.

He is safer if he stays inside the house.
