My Cat Spit McGee, by Willie Morris, Vintage Books NY, 1999.
A Cat Named Darwin, by William Jordan, First Mariner Books / Houghton Mifflin Company NY 2002.
The two books run on parallel lines, about men who reluctantly allowed cats to come into their lives, and how they learnt and benefited as a result. Not too soppy and sentimental, but the writers' fascination with and the loves for their cats shine through.
Who says only women loves cats?
PS: Spit McGee is a dead ringer for Kiki, and both share the weird habit of sleeping belly up and paws straight in the air.
