Went down to find Hat at 8am. He must be sleeping under one of the bushes because he took a long time to appear, and just sat there looking at me bleary-eyed. I already explained to him and Mera about the painters coming today, and he may not be able to sleep in the house. I have already left biscuits and water outside for them.
