Max wanting to go out to join Hat and Spencer, but of course he is not allowed to.

I came back and he was waiting by the door. He seemed happy, and played a bit of soccer with me. Spencer was hiding in her cubby hole, on the highest shelf, and refused to come down. I doubt she had touched the floor for the whole day.

Max moved to under the bed and stayed quiet, Spencer finally decided to come out and walked for a while. Hat turned up much much later, and left before I could get his dinner. He was still apprehensive of Max.

Spencer had a pee and some food, and camped on the dinner table. Max went back to under the bed.

Max is rather clever. He knows which are his litter bins and bowls, he recognises his name, and he knows how to play soccer with me. I don't understand why Spencer is so hostile, as she wasn't as hostile towards Mera, Kiki or Hat before.

I guess it takes time.
