Hat wanted to leave but he knew Max was napping outside. Spencer had a few bites to eat and a pee. She rested in her basket, which was just outside the store room. I believed she and Hat had a little chat. Unfortunately, Max sauntered in, and stood between Hat and Spencer. Both snarled and growled, Hat jumped back to his bed, Spencer went into the other room and fell asleep too.

The Myanmar neighbour came back, and Max has always been scared of him. Max knows how to go out through the netting but not the other way around, so he was running around in circles outside. I opened the door to let him in, and he started to cough and wheeze, maybe out of fear. The neighbour was very concerned, and asked me if Max is unwell.
