We can see several old scars on Max after the shave. He was abandoned because the ex-owner got herself a new dog, and the dog disturbed Max all the time. Maybe the scars was from the fights. Poor Max!

goodness! i hate pet owners who abandon their pets!
i was so angry when my mother decided to release my 4 huge turtles into some reservoir the other day...
Oh dear, poor Max, that's terrible he had to go through that. I have 2 dogs & 7 cats & the cats get along with the dogs perfectly. My big dog even has his own cat that he fusses over & washes his face.
Max looks great though, I think we worried more about it than we had to. He seems like he likes his new look. ha ha
