When I went to work today, Mera approached me, whimpering. I saw that he had a bump on his head, at the right hand side. After further examination, I saw that there was a huge gash inside his right ear. He continued to whine, I told him I would dress his wounds tonight.

Later at night I called Mera's owner. She told me the bump has burst, and pus was everywhere. Sigh. She didn't know how to dress the wound, or not inclined to, so it is my responsibility again.

When I reached home, I realised I left the house keys at work. GAAH! Hat was with me, circling my legs, wanting to go in, and Spencer was screaming inside. She even climbed onto the window to galre at me, as if I was stupid enough not to go in! Hat waited patiently and washed his thighs. Luckily there were some left over biscuits outside. Sister would only turn up in 30 minutes, so I had my dinner outside the house. Spencer was crying inside, and pawing at the door. Hat just waited quietly, good boy.

Finally the house keys arrived. Hat ate only a little bit, and spent the rest of the evening disturbing and chasing Spencer. He even played acrobats at the kitchen window. I don't know why he is suddenly so cocky. Sister said maybe it was because we had a meal together outside, and he thought his position in the cat hierachy had been promoted. Dream on, Hat.

Spencer refused to have anything to do with Hat, and sulked under the bed. Hat fell asleep on the sofa.

Mera turned up at 11pm for biscuits, with his messy head. The fur is all caked and dry. I tried my best to clean it, and managed to rub some antibiotic ointment in. Mera was not impressed, of course. Especially with Hat in the house, satring at him with flattened ears. I really hope Mera won't get himself into more mischief. The wounds looked bad, and so close to CNY as it is! Posted by Picasa
