I had bad dreams, so woke up at 7.30am and couldn't get back to sleep again. Spencer came in after pee when she heard that I was up. Mera came at 7.45am to woff down some biscuits. Hat came at 8am, with several greasy streaks on him, and smelling of rubbish. He ate Spencer's leftovers and left. Then I went cycling.
When I came back, Auntycat was sitting on the park bench waiting. I wish she doesn't meow loudly whenever she heard my keys. She is not the best looking cat, and with meows like that, it may scare some people. The old folks sitting around asked me why I fed the cats so much biscuits. Bzzz.
Then I bathed Hat. He struggled but kept quiet. 10 minutes later, it was Spencer's turn. As expected, she SCREAMED all the way through, as if I was splashing acid on her. And she is heavy, so it was quite difficult to restrain her when she tried to hide behind the toilet bowl.
Spencer licked herself dry outside, and I did the usual cleaning, cat food inventory and laundry. Hat came up to say thank you for the bath, as he sat prettily outside, looking sparkling white. He had a can and left. Spencer will take longer to dry, as her fur is thicker.
Mera has not appeared until now, so he escapes the bath today.
