Sister J complained that I posted an unflattering picture of Max, so here is a better one. He is getting chubby.
Spencer is still upset. We didn't go to bed until past 2am last night. She was upset because:
1) I reached home after 10.30pm and she thought I was on day shift
2) Sister S called at 11pm, to ask me to help her pack for her trip to USA via India
3) Spencer doesn't like us talking on the phones
4) I don't know how Sister S's wardrobe system works, so the room was in a mess
5) Spencer doesn't like messy rooms
6) Plastic dry clean bags were flying everywhere
7) Spencer doesn't like plastic bags
8) I was too busy to notice that she wanted to pee
9) The bin was not ready
10) I refused to let her sneak into the wardrobe
11) She thought I was packing for a trip
12) She hates anyone of us being away on trips
13) She hates changes of any kind
14) it was past her 11pm bedtime
So I ended up with a very agitated and vocal cat, who just refused to be pacified.
This morning, she refused to go for her nap in the store room. She followed me all over the house, and shouted when I went to the toilet or into another room. Hat was trying to nap, and ws interrupted repeatedly by Spencer's screams. And Spencer kept asking for food.
Spencer is a cat who needs lots of reassurances.
Sister S's colleagues came to pick up the luggage after 12pm, and Spencer seemed to have finally understood that I was not running away afterall.
She is better now, taking winds outside, and watching BH2 crunching biscuits.

Alamak, the way you described sounded like me when me trying to get my toddler on time to daycare and at the same time having to pacify a newborn :( Arggh!
But why you have to pack Sis S luggage for US leh?
Sister S is in Pune, India then they told her she has to fly to USA from there. She only has the shabbiest oldest clothes in her luggage.
Dear Harimau, at least I still have the choice of locking Spencer in the store room.....:-p
Gosh, Spencer is chronic isnt she.
Poor spencer. She must really be very anxious to behave like that. Bujang will make alot of noise if I am home late and nothing will pacify him until I come home, not even food. Once I am in the house, he will relax and rest. of cos he also yells when the litter is not up to his standard :)
What an eye opener, both Spencer and Bujang. And I'd thought that cats don't care.
