I am sad to announce that my trusty Canon IXUS 500 died on me just now.
It keeps making that clicking sound, like the shutter is stuck. And there is an error meaasage. Sigh.
I know it is dying, as the picture quality has declined, especially with the zoon lens. And there is this purple band at the top of the LCD screen.
Just that when the moment comes, it is still sad.
RIP.

oh dear.. rest in peace...
I guess you have taken a thousand
pictures with the camera and its normal for it to go to rest. A new one may be even cheaper than before.
RIP IXUS 500. You have done a good job. Its time to go :))
It was shocked to death to find Mera and Spencer in the same shot. :-)
