Sunny day.

Spencer is napping, and Max just had lunch. He is now grooming on my bed.

Went to the vet to give him some cookies for Christmas.

Then I went to the pet shop for home delivery.

There was a new staff there, and from her speech and manners, I gathered she is the new store manager. There wasn't any other staffs in the shop. I never had any problems with home delivery, and I have been going to the same store for 5 years now. As long as the delivery amount is more than $100, the items include biscuits, litter and canned food, and I order Fancy Feast in cartons, we were happy.

This lady started to by telling me there is a 20% discount if I buy two bags of Nutro. OK, fair enough. Then she said she must charge me $7.90 for Friskies 1.5kg, though I had been paying $6.90 a bag. They used to be $5.90 until the price increase one year ago. So I changed my order to Friskies 3.5kg, whcih cost $13.60. And she said I must order all the 400g wet food in cartons, be it Whiskas, Friskies or Frisian. I told her I had been ordering 3 to 6 cans of the 400g for each flavor, each time, and there has been no problem. The last delivery was two weeks ago. I am just a Cat Lady, not a pet shop, and where am I going to put all the cartons in the house?
She finally relented, and allowed me to order in loose quantity. They are running a Fancy Feast promotion, buy 12 get 1 free, and she refused to give me the two free cans, saying they are for cash and carry only. And she asked me if I need her to circle out the items for home delivery on the receipt. Whoa! Did I look like a dimwit to her? That I couldn't remember what I had brought home?

I did get pissed off. And it really takes a lot for me to be pissed off by sales staffs.

Anyone knows of any good pet shops in Yishun/ Sembawang/ Admiralty/ Woodlands area? Or internet ordering? Posted by Picasa

Whah! Very leceh suddenly. How come they changed all the rules? They should treat all customers nicely , especially if you are a loyal customer. I am also changing pet store that I buy from. The one at T gives me grief most times. So i now go to the one in EP. They give better service and I don't get late delivery.

wah... is it a family business run petshop? i sympathise with you, but i cant recommend any good petshop, as i myself have to put up auntie who take my order, not rude but in a non-professional way.

well, if you can put up with that, send me an email, i will refer you to them (their prices are reasonable).
