Brought hat to the vet today. When I woke up, he was resting in the cage, with a resigned look on his face. He doesn't snarl at Max anymore.

And the vet said he seems to be OK.

Sheesh.

The vet said there seems to be some problem with the leg, but there is no swelling, no broken bones, no pain, and Hat walked OK. And being 4 years old, he is too young to have arthritis. The vet said maybe he pulled a muscle, and the foot has been tender.

Then we waited for a long time for the taxi. And Hat had morning tea before he left. He had a plate of fish at 9am. He does look much better.

Hat: See!! I told you there is NOTHING wrong with me!!!

Hat is really the most docile patient. No screamings and tantrums from him. He just sat in the cage queitly. He got very scared when two schnauzers fought in the clinic. Other than that, you hardly noticed he was there.

Then I bathed Max.

And trimmed the fur on his face, so he doesn't look too much like a dandelion. It is easier than I thought. Especially when the fur was wet. After that we just trimmed and tidied the paws. I hope Sister J will be happy with the result. If not, well, the fur will always grow back!
