However unpleasant my work and the customers are, there are still things to be thankful for.

That Kiki's owner is willing to treat him for those terrible injuries, though the vet bills must have cost a bomb.

That some kind hearted samaritan had spayed 3-Eye over the weekend, and 3-Eye is active, healthy and happy. Maybe the same person also did AlbinoCalico.

That the bus driver waved at me.

That one Indian guy tried to give up his seat on the bus for me, because I was carrying several bags.

That Spencer is healthy and well. Albeit a bit neurotic and vocal.

That TheBigCatInTheSky sent Max to us, knowing that we and the vet will take care of him, and his many many health problems.

That I still have my eye sight which allows me to read.

That I still have my job which pays for the kitties' food and medical bills, and my obsession with books and words.

That I am still mobile, to be able to take care of the kitties, and chronicle their lives.

That I am sane enough, to know what is important and what is not.
