Was out in the morning to visit bookstores, and had a lovely handmade soba meal.

It was raining when I reached home, Spencer and Hat both sleeping and it was very warm and humid. Spencer couldn't sleep as we were cleaning out the store room, and Hat and she took turn to explore the extra space in the store room. They perched on top of the cartons being pushed out into the hall, and watched us sweating and toiling. I was surprised Hat didn't run away, later I realised maybe he was hungry as he likes a snack at 3pm. He didn't get to eat until 5pm, and was washing himself happily, when Mera came out from my room. He still could sleep with all the commotions around him. Hat didn't smell him, and got a shock when he turned around and Mera was staring at him less that one foot away. Hat escaped quickly, Mera had a few bites, and left. Spencer finally collapsed at 7pm as she didn't sleep a wink for the whole afternoon.

Hat came out again at 9pm to eat the leftovers, and came again singing, in the middle of the night. I didn't know what time it was, just opened the door to let him in.
