I have always been fascinated by Kliban's cats, especially those with colors. A group of rotund cats with placid expressions, involved in human day-to-day activities eg skiing, sailing, sunbathing on the beach....

This book also showcased some of Kliban's earlier works, in black and white. I wonder if Gary Larson of The Far Side fame found inspiration in Kliban's drawings too.
