Being written in the 50's, the language use is archaic at times, but the humour is not lost. One just gripped to the edge of one's seat, expecting the worst as the cats got into a chain of troubles and calamities.

I don't know what most readers think, but I certainly would think twice before adopting a Siamese in the future!!
