Hat came up at 9am. He looked a bit messed up, as if he had been in a scuffle. I saw some scratches behind his left ear, and his fur was muddy at some places. His ears were somewhat flattened, and he looked cheesed off. Other than that, I couldn't find any other injuries. He is now sulking in his basket.

BH2 is in bad shape too. Other than the usual sneezing, his left eye is red and watery.

So 3 explainations for Hat's condition:

1) he was in a fight

2) BH2 passed the cat flu to him

3) Max passed the ear infection to him

Hope Hat will be better by tonight.
