Saw Papa Bear today. He told me Dodo had passed away last Friday night. Dodo had been deteriorating, and his sister brought Dodo to another vet to have blood tests. The vet said something about female dogs should be neutered, and something to do with the intestines. I think it was a tumour. Poor Dodo. I wonder if she could be saved, if her condition was discovered earlier. Dodo's father passed away on 1st April, his sister a few days later, and Dodo had followed them.
Papa Bear said he is going to buy another dog.
Rest in peace, Dodo. At least now you can reunite with your whole family.

Aww I'm so sorry for Dodo, it's funny how we can become attached to a pet that we may have never met. When I worked at the animal hospital my heart would break whenever someone's pet was sick, even if I had only just met them. So many people would drop off their pet to be put to sleep (because it was too hard for them) & I would always stay with the pet until they were gone just to comfort them & let them know that they weren't alone. People can be so callous & heartless, that's why I love my pets so much.
My neighbors are scum of the earth but I have always liked their little girl & bought her dolls & stuff but they have been evicted & the little girl asked me if I would take her cat because her Dad was just going to take it out somewhere & dump it. So of course seeing the heartbreak in her eyes I said of course. And that she could visit any time, I know they won't but at least she knows her kitty has a home forever. I mean what's one more when I already have 7! Ha ha

Dodo's passing is mainly due to the complacency of the owner.
I agree with all of you. Papa Bear shouldn't get another dog if the family's mindset doesn't change. Neglect is also a form of cruelty.
