Went to the Guan Yin Temple at Shuan Lin Monastery today. It is actually located next to the temple which I went just before Chinese New Year.
The Pagoda.
The lotus pond, which wasn't ready the last time.
And most of the lotus flowers were not in bloom. I was hoping to see the real thing. The white color bud is twice the size of the pink one.
The temple was not crowded, I think they were serving vegetarian lunch before the prayer sessions in the afternoon. I saw a lot of people visiting the monastery with incense and offerings, to commemorate the QingMing festival.
It was beastly hot and humid. I walked back to Toa Payoh Central, and had a look around. Some parts had changed completely due to the new HDB hub, some parts remain the same. I found a pet shop, and bought two HUGE furry mouse for $2.50 each. I also bought a mozzie zapper light.
