My sister in Australia informed me via sms that Peter Brock was killed in a rally competition in Perth today.

Brock is a household name in Austrlia, being a legendary saloon race car driver, winning the Barthust 1000 nine times in the early 90s. He just turned 60 on 26th February.

It is a sad week for Australia.
