The vet also looked at Max's clipper wounds. After one week of antibiotic ointment, the wounds are drier and more shallow, but not closed. There were scabs on some of them.

The nurse shaved the area again, cleaned up the wounds and removed the scabs. The vet put some "skin glue" on the wounds, so they will close up and heal. If the wounds do not close up in one week, Max has to go back and get some stitches......

For me, the wounds have improved, because I had seen how bad they were two weeks ago. I guess it is because of the shave and the glue. Posted by Picasa

Poor Max. The trimmer who hurt him should pay the vet bill for the treatment. At least he's more comfortable. And his teeth! Poor, poor thing.

Will you go back to the same groomer?

I don't know guys. It all depends on Sister J.

We are doing whatever we can for him, to make him more comfortable and pain free. But he is a trooper, he should be fine.
