One of those days when things just didn't go right. UGH. Should have just stayed in bed.
Sister S told me that some cat poed outside our door!! GAAH!!
She said Kiki sniffed at the poo, so obviously it is not his.
And Spencer stood guard over the poo, so it is not hers either.
After much discussion, we think it was Mera's handiwork.
I had been cleaning the corridor with biological cleaner, so he may want to mark his territory. I cleaned the corridor on Monday, he sprayed all over the pot plant on Tuesday. I cleaned it again on Wednesday, he poo-ed on Friday.
Sigh.
Does anyone know where to buy tiger dung?

how about trying vingear (wash) and mothballs (deter)?

you might like to try sprinkling the place with crushed mothballs. Ground the mothbals until they're very fine, like dust. I was advised to try that for SB's case but as she has been doing her biz on the grass, I didn't have the chance to try that. Now I have a whole container of crushed mothballs. I guess I will find some use for them later.
Mera seems like a tough nut to crack. That's the impression I get from the posts on him, and the pix of his naughty ginger face.
I guess the mothball scent + texture would deter cats from doing their stuff all over the place? My concern, though, would be the risk of the cats licking that toxic stuff off their paws.
Ahhh I didn't think of that part. I was thinking they might just steer clear of the stuff since it has worked for the community cats in other areas.

Dear Catdonna, I have the same concern as yours, and I am so anal I must sweep the floor once a day. Mera is like that, he has very strong personality. Last night he pee-ed and vomitted at the front door. Sigh.
Ahh..THE MAN has emailed me to tell me he found poo near his car on the 30th Nov but could not say if it was SB. I told him it was quite weird for her to go on the grass and then go in the carpark at the same time. He still insists that the one doing all the pooing is SB as he had seen her several times at it. He also told me not to go check and not to put the mothballs as he had called the NEA to send the cleaners to clean it for the 30th Nov.
If indeed it was she, what could possess her to do it? I really do not know the answer.
