I was at Kinokuniya to get some books for Sister P, and was lucky enough to catch the lion dance performance at the food court.

It wasn't very crowded, being a public holiday still, and I was so close to the resting lion I could pat it. The performance was spirited and cheeky. In the 3rd picture the lion was spitting out the greens towards the stall owners, followed by several oranges, which they had to catch. Then a tray containing the orange segments in some auspicious characters and numbers was presented. Fun was had by all.

I love lion dance, and I prefer the 南狮 more than anything else.
