KindlyNeighbour called me, to tell me that Miaomiao is limping on her right paw.

It has been going on for a while now, especially after Miaomiao wakes up from her nap or sitting down for too long. She couldn't see any injury though.

The vet gave Miao an injection, and some antibiotics and supplements. And Miao is 6kg, the vet said she must lose some weight, to reduce the strain on the paw.

KindlyNeighbour is worried that Miao will be lame for life. I told her it is not likely, unless there is an injury to the limbs or the spine. I suspect it is wear and tear on the joints, or arthritis. And Miao has this disturbing habit of kicking her right paw with her right leg, since kittenhood.

KindlyNeighbour said if there is no improvement, she will go to Spencer's vet. She was there when he treated Mera for his last injury, and she finds him professional. Which was what I had been telling her all along.
