After that Sister W said she would like to treat us for ice cream.
I was expecting a cone, but Sister S thought we should try the desserts from Shimbashi, at Paragon.
This is the place where they serve hand-made soba noodles.
I had the macha cheese cake, Sister S had macha tofu jelly, and Sister W had this traditional thingy which I had forgotten the name of.
The cheese cake had more cheese than green tea flavor, but it was dense and not too sweet.
Sister S said the jelly was up to standard, but I found the sago eyes quite disturbing.
The traditional dessert came with brown sugar syrup, and a lacquer spoon, which I thought was quite intriguing.
