Spencer has to wait at the door each time she wants to go out, because she is so fat now she cannot squeeze through the grilles anymore. Actually she hasn't been able to do that for the last 3 years. She can come back in by jumping in through the windows, and creating a huge racket as a result.

Spencer is really having a weight issue and we are hoping to maintain the weight by giving her "lite" catfood and cut out all treats. One can't really make cats exercise, but we try to play with her as much as we can. Unfortunately, Spencer only wants to exercise her paws, and only for a few minutes. The vet said it takes time, and it is an uphill task.

Currently she is 8kg. The ideal weight is 4 to 6kg.
