Woke up with migraine still, not a good sign. Because I only have them once or twice a year, the doctor never prescribed any special tablets like Imigran or Zomig. Normally they gave me propranolol, ibuprofen, naproxen and paracetamol/codeine combination-all for the pain. Because I cannot afford to be afford to be drowsy on my job, I was not prescribed anti-axiety tablets.
I know cold packs help, and I have lavender and clary sage on hand. Unfortuantely migraine hardly strikes at home, so the chance of having a lie-down in the darkened room is pretty minimal.
