Went to the 城隍庙 at Kim Keat with Sister S this afternoon. It was so crowded!

Plus there were other activities going on, like the monks chanting ($25)to increase the lucks of your family members, and lighting the lotus candles ($10)for protection.

I was more interested in the 虎爷, which will protect one against evil people or 小人. The offerings normally include incense, pork and eggs. Most of the people in the queues are 30+ yuppies. I was in the queue for so long I was tearing at the end, because of the smokes.
