5.30am wake up call from Spencer today. Groan.....If I contunue to wake up and feed her, she will continue to do it. Either she has to eat less, I leave more food out for her at night, or I close the room door.

My people tried closing the door on Bonnie when she'd attack their hands and feet while they slept... she just rattled the door and yelled at them. I had trouble sleeping thru the night when I arrived so Mom gave me a big play session just before bed to wear me out. That did the trick! Now if they're sleeping and I want to play, I bring a mousie onto the bed and chase it all over them.
Mera is looking for his guns.
Well Victor Tabbycat, I don't think I like mousie in bed at all! I think Spencer has some psychological issues we need to deal with, and she is not that into playtime. So I guess we will have to work things out slowly.
I believe Spencer doesn't like having all these other cats coming in and out of her castle at ALL times of the day and disturbing her peace, territory and property. And she has to be constantly on guard. That may be a key to her being grouchy and needy.
Dear auntie P, you do have a point there. Spencer is OK with Mera but she hates all the other kitties.
