I did wake up at 3am to watch the match between Portugal and Holland. And I pity this guy. Maybe he is inexperienced vs Scolari. Maybe his Gods turn their backs on him. Because he doesn't deserve this Oranje team. Holland choked at the end, history repeats itself.
At the first whistle, I already felt that Holland was jittery, and disorganised. Van Nisterroolj was not in the first 11, Robben couldn't score, the midfield lost possession. Portugal was no better, they played rough. The captain Figo head-butted someone, but the referee didn't see. Christiano Ronaldo was injured, and burst into tears. Altogether 4 red cards and 16 yellow were given during the match, both teams down to 9 men eventually. There were several scuffles and fist fights. It was really like 22 school boys fighting in the yard, giving a bad name to the tournament. They didn't even shake hands and exchange shirts at the final whistle. I felt like I was watching WWF.
Portugal won 1-0, to advance to the quater-final and meet England. The Portugese were jumping and dancing on the pitch, even though I don't see what they have to be so happy about. They don't have the man power to play England.
After today's performance, both Portugal and Holland don't deserve to win.

well, i aint no soccer fan but this guy looked lost and helpless during the last 30min. at least try to shout some strategy or something, but he just stood there.
Maybe he really didn't know what to do then. His only coaching experience was with the Ajax youth team.
