The green-eyed mosnter....Spencer has been alright with Max today. I didn't hear too many snarls and growls. She even slept under the sofa cover. Max would sniff at her when he trotted past.

Mera came, but not daring to come in. I thought I heard his bells, so I went out to investigate. Found him sulking on the 3rd floor staircase landing, so I brought him some biscuits. Then I saw Auntycat being chased by some kids at the garden, so I went down and gave her some food too. I was using the plastic tub as a feeding bowl, as it is less wastage. And I looked on from the corridor with Max. Then this old guy took the tub away. I wanted to see what he was doing before I shouted at him. He walked away with the tub, and gave some biscuits to BH2 who was waiting under a tree, then he gave the tub back to Auntycat. BH2 didn't eat the biscuits though.

Even the heat was getting to Mera. His dad was at the garden, and Mera draped himself on the pavement, looking hot and grouchy.

When we came back, Mera's dad was napping on the garden bench, and Mera had disappeared. It was only after we came up. then I saw Mera waiting at the edge of the corridor, obviously waiting for us. I opened the door slowly, and Max was sleeping under the ironing board. I gave Mera a push, and he sneaked in quickly to my room. By the time Max jumped up, I had already shut the room door.

5 minutes later, it poured.

Spencer and Mera are still sleeping. Max had a short nap in the store room, and is outside now.
