Max is very much affected by the heat. Poor guy.

Labour Day holiday today, also for most poeple in the East Asia region. I think most people here will go shopping, because of the windfall, in the form of Progress package, given out by the government to the citizens. The purpose of the Package is to assist in the daily needs, especially for the poorer families. However, people may use the money to buy luxuries. I was at the local shopping mall yesterday, and actually saw an electrical retailer having a Progress Package Sale. *Shudder*.

Sister S wanted to buy a digital camera, but could not decide on a IXUS or Powershot. Each has its own strong points, but I swear by my IXUS. I bought something for Mother Day too, but mum maybe reading this, so I can't say what it is. The sponsors had been told though. I myslef was looking for a cordless headphone, for the TV. I think pepole will be looking for it soon, for the upcoming World Cup.

Then we went to look at bicycles. Sister S thought I would be more mobile if I have a bicycle, not relying on public transport and my two legs all the time. The other day, I had an wild thought of going for a motorcycle licence, also for the same reason. At least I can ride a scooter to work!!! I am the type of person who can't coordinate my hands-eye movement, and can't even play Pac-man, so driving is definitely out for me. Posted by Picasa

Hey you can ride a pink Italian vespa and a fashionable cool white helmet with black rim. [ ok...I think I am getting carried away..... ] . Only thing is when it rains you need to take refuge under the overhead bridge like most malaysian Mat Rock would do.....

Happy holidays!

Actually, if you're not confident of your coordination then maybe it's best to stick to the public transport?

Singapore roads/motorists are pretty unforgiving.

Whah Catdonna, long time no see. Staying up all nights to change diapers for Fiver and Hazel? Come back soon, miss your daily humour. And Princess Pip.

As for the bikes, motorised or otherwise, it is just for me to whizz around the estate with. I really won't expect myself to scoot down CTE on a Saturday afternoon!

Dear Vegie, your imagination....maybe I would end up looking like those Taiwanese aunties on scooters! With fish and chives hanging from the handlebar...
