ALMOST BITTEN

Woken at 6am by frantic scratching sound. finally managed to open my eyes, and it was that dang Hat digging and scratching, reaching his paw behind the wardrobe. I thought that he must have dropped something behind, so I asked him to stop digging and I would help him to look for it later. He went on for a while and jumped down to join Spencer in a early morning chat next to the bookcase. Actually I don't remember him indoors last night, so he must have jumped in after we all slept.

In the morning, I found his toy mouse outside the window. It must have either dropped out when Hat was stretching, or he was batting with it until it fell out. Hat was happy to be reunited, and slept from 11am to 5.30pm. After that he was all ready for fun and play with BH2 and so I let him be.

Spencer slept in too, so Kiki couldn't play withe anyone except the humans.

Was feeding BH2 at the power station. He was crouching near the bushes at the right hand side. I placed the food at the entrance and went round the corner to pick up any left behind rubbish. When I turned back, BH2 was right behind me, and he got a huge shock. He started to puff up and splutter, and I had to dive to avoid being given a good old scratch and bite!! I talked to him gently, and he calmed down after a while. I showed him where the food is and left. I think he is getting the hang of things, just a bit psychotic at times. Even at night he would wait at the power station for his dinner.
