HAT PHONED HOME

Spencer and I was getting ready for bed at about 11pm. Cats were fed and biscuits and water were left outside. Hat had gone down to play with his friends after dinner and Kiki had been safely tucked in. Then I heard a soft persistent meowing outside. Spencer's ears pricked up. It went on for a while. I thought the lost tom was back so I peeped out. It was Hat sitting on the balcony, calling towards the window. I was a bit surprised as he had never done that before. I know he would go to bed after breakfast if it is rainy or he had a whole night of fun.

I opened the door, he jumped down, walked through the grilles and jumped straight up to the wardrobe and fell asleep promptly.

I know he still has problem jumping in through the windows like Mera. But it is smart of him to see that I was not asleep yet and call me through the correct window!! Clever boy. I don't know what he is going to do if I ignored him!
